Hey friend and welcome! Let me share a little of my world with you!
I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, an aunt, a dog and cat mom, a dietitian, and a personal trainer, among other things. BUT…it has taken me 40-plus years to learn I can be so much more than that. I am a woman, and just because of my age, my weight, or my past history, I can still do anything I set my mind to. Now, in my 50’s, I am stronger and have never felt better in my life. THIS is what I am determined to help my clients see and feel as well.
I have been a registered dietitian since 1995 but I have been studying functional nutrition over the past 5 years. This has changed my practice tremendously and helped me see my patients as a whole compared to only the food they eat. Functional nutrition takes into account sleep, stress, exercise/activity, nutrition, medication and supplement intake, gut health, and medical history to create a personalized plan. I am dedicated to helping women build their confidence, energy, strength, and endurance through small, consistent changes in any or all of these areas.

As a personal trainer with a certification in corrective exercise, I am able to create both nutrition and exercise plans that can help clients reach weight loss or muscle gain goals even faster compared to only focusing on one of these areas. Increasing strength and muscle safety can mean the difference between living the life you dream of or struggling with pain and injury as you grow older.
